What We Believe

WE BELIEVE the Bible is the inspired Word of God and is the infallible rule of faith and Conduct.

In one true, holy, eternal, benevolent God and Father.  The “Eternal Word” is a distinct personal self-manifestation of God as His own agent of revelation or God revealed.  The Holy Spirit is a distinct personal Self-manifestation of God as his own agent of accomplishment or God proceeding forth to accomplishment.

Jesus Christ is Jehovah God revealed (incarnate) and according to the flesh, perfect man – the God-man; Son of God; our Immanuel.

Mankind was holy, innocent, and good, having fellowship with God.  Through the sin of disobedience, physical and spiritual death came upon all humanity.  The only hope of redemption is through the shed blood of Christ.

We are saved by grace (divine favor) through saving faith and that genuine repentance is God’s standard.

In believer’s baptism in water, by immersion, in accordance with Acts 8:16, Acts 19:5, I Corinthians 1:13, and Luke 24-44-49.

All believers are to receive the Holy Spirit baptism through which they are regenerated, sanctified, and empowered for service in accordance with Acts 2:4.

The church is universal in scope, Apostolic in message, Pentecostal in experience, and sanctified in lifestyle. We strive for one holy, universal, Apostolic church.

Believers are sanctified (or dedicated) unto Christ and that such a life us wrought through blood of Jesus Christ, the Word of God, and the Holy Spirit.

The Lord Jesus Christ has divinely called scripturally ordained ministry.  Divine healing is the benefit for all through Calvary (subject to God’s sovereignty) In the commanded ordinance of the Lord’s Supper (communion).  We use unleavened bread and wine for the purpose of discerning the benefits of Calvary.

Tithes and offerings are the Apostolic form of financing God’s church.

The marriage oath is binding until death of one of the partners; and that all Christians who are single or separated are to walk in purity and peace.

Christians should not belong to secret societies or any cult bound by oaths with unbelievers.

Government is ordained by God to be the servant of justice.  Christians, under God as their ultimate authority, are to obey the laws of the land.  However, if there is a conflict, we should obey God.

There will be a bodily resurrection of the dead and rapture of the Church.

In the literal return of Christ to earth from heaven, the salvation national Israel at the time, and the millennial kingdom of Christ on earth.

The evil one, his angels, the antichrist, the false prophet, and the unsaved shall be confined to everlasting punishment.

God will establish a new heaven and a new earth wherein righteousness will dwell.

 The Apostle Creed

I believe in God the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ, His only Son our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried.  He ascended into heaven, and sitteth on the right hand of the Father Almighty from thence He shall come to judge the quick and the dead.  I believe in the Holy Ghost, the holy Apostolic church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. AMEN.

Although the Apostles did not write this creed , it is founded upon scripture and is universally accepted by all Christians.
